Lloret de Mar

The enormously popular Costa Brava offers you the best of both worlds – the beach and attractions of Lloret de Mar, combined with the sights and the sounds of Barcelona. With a passion for football, the region is a cracking tour choice for football groups and remains one of our most requested destinations.

Accommodation

We use several comfortable 3 star hotels in Lloret de Mar such as the Garbi Park; Acapulco and Don Juan. Similar hotels are also available down the coast in Calella. Rooms, all ensuite, are usually allocated for 3 players, with twin rooms available for adults. With plenty of choice, food is buffet style in the hotel restaurants. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool; bar; TV room and usually evening entertainments in high season.

Features

The busy town of Lloret de Mar is one of the major tourist centres on the Spanish Mediterranean coastline. By day you can enjoy ‘Waterworld’ water park; shops, crazy golf and the beach. By night there are restaurants, ten pin bowling and bars to keep you entertained. Other Costa Brava resorts are available on request.

Sports

Football
Football is extremely popular in the region and friendly matches can be organised throughout the season. While a few clubs have grass pitches, most matches are played on sandy or
artificial surfaces. We are now delighted to be able to offer training sessions with coaching staff from professional club Espanyol at their Academy complex in Barcelona.

Excursion Possibilities
A day trip to Barcelona is a must for all groups staying in the region. Enjoy the chance to visit the Nou Camp stadium for a guided tour or perhaps see a match in season. Other highlights include shopping along the Ramblas; Montjuic; and the unfinished cathedral
