Belle Dune

Just an hour or so from Calais, the Belle Dune Pierre & Vacances Holiday Resort with its lake, "Aquaclub" tropical pool and adjacent golf club is a favourite with British family groups. The large beach at Quend is accessible by footpaths through the dunes.

Accommodation

A wide selection of stylish apartments and houses are available:
Apartments: all have a living room with 2 single sofa beds and 1 x pullout bed; a dining area and kitchen equipped with 4 hotplates, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine. The bathroom is fitted with washbasin, bath and toilet. The units are equipped with telephone and television (both payable locally). The configurations over and above this are as follows:

Studio apt (4-5 pers): 1 room with bunk beds.
2 room apt (4-5 pers): 1 room with double bed.
3 room apt (6-7 pers): 1 room with 1 double bed; 1 large room with 2 single beds.
4 room apt (7-8 pers): 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 room with bunk beds; shower room and separate toilet.

Sports

Football
There are a number of youth football tournaments over the Easter and May Bank Holiday weekend periods over 1 and sometimes 2 days. These include annual international events at clubs such as "Audruicq”, "Coulogne" “Etaples” and "Boulogne". Friendly matches can be organised throughout the season (September - early June) at host clubs within the region

Other Information

Local facilities
From the resort, a walk of 25-30 minutes following the footpath through the forest and dunes brings you to the wide sandy beach of Quend Plage. A short 2-mile drive along the coast is the larger seaside resort of Fort Mahon with shops, restaurants, bank and surgery.

Excursion Possibilities
The popular resort of Le Touquet is about 20 miles away with its indoor and outdoor "Aqaulud" water park, while you may prefer the rides and attractions of the Bagatelle theme park in Berck sur Mer
