Jesolo (Venice)

A lively town on the Venetian coast, Jesolo offers much a football touring group would want. There's the beach, sports and activities of course, and one of Italy's very best waterparks too! With a transfer of less than an hour by boat or coach to the picture-postcard sights of Venice, you really can enjoy the best of all worlds from this destination.

Accommodation

We use a selection of typical Italian 2-3 star hotels on or close to the beachfront, such as the “Da Bepi”; “Kennedy” and “Heron”. Most of the twin and family bedrooms are en suite. The hotels typically have a private area on the lovely sandy beach, restaurant and terrace. A number of the higher grade hotels we feature also have a small outdoor swimming pool.

Features

Jesolo is a lively resort with a fantastic sandy beach. The busy strip along the seafront is lined with shops and bars. You’ll find plenty of places to get some pizza too. With several grass pitches in the resort, training time is possible and there is crazy golf and tennis courts to suit the energetic. Fun for all the family, the Aqualandia waterpark is on the outskirts of the town.

Sports

Football
We have an excellent network of local Italian clubs, so friendly matches here are always a big success. After the game you can enjoy some typical Italian hospitality and tuck in to some local pasta at the club. A selection of tournaments is also available and guest coaching can be organised with the Udinese Academy. Tickets for Serie “A” and Serie “B” games can be organised during the season.

Excursion Possibilities
Venice is a must of course. We can reserve a private boat transfer along the Grand Canal so you’ll have easy access to all the major sights. Soak up the atmosphere as the gondolas pass along the canals and still have time to explore the market stalls and shops. Aqualandia water park is loads of fun (open high season only) and for rides and thrills we recommend Gardaland theme park near Verona (an hour and a half by coach)

Travel

The coach journey from Calais to Jesolo takes approximately 18 hours travelling through the night. Flights are available from a number of UK airports into Venice and Treviso, less than an hour by coach from the resort
