Founded in 1629, Chigwell School is set in the heart of a picturesque village on the outskirts of Epping Forest, yet just an easy commute into the heart of London. On a large site featuring 14 playing fields in over 70 acres of countryside, it provides a rural setting combining modern facilities with a historic background. You can always take the London underground train
service into the city for a great day out during your stay.

This is the perfect environment for your pre-season training camp with football fields at your disposal, leisure facilities on your doorstep and meeting rooms if requested. Your accommodation is in a magnificent 18th century mansion just a short walk from the football fields and restaurant. Enjoyed by Academy teams from both home and abroad in recent seasons, limited availability means you’ll need to book early to ensure your places.

Accommodation

The most impressive of boarding houses, Grange Court is an 18th century mansion, with simple bedrooms for 2-6 persons sharing. Shower blocks are on each floor and there is a small communal kitchen, meeting room with satellite television, and games area. Internet access and laundry facility are also available.
