We use a number of 3 star hotels in Lloret de Mar such as the Don Juan, San Marti and Flamingo, all just a short walk from the multitude of bars and clubs. Most of the bedrooms are for 3 sharing, with private bathroom and balcony. Most groups stay on half board basis with food, buffet style, in the hotel restaurants. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool; bar; TV room and usually evening entertainments in high season.

Rugby tours and rugby tournaments to Spain are always popular with our tour groups. The busy town of Lloret de Mar is one of the major tourist centres on the Spanish Mediterranean coastline. As a “vila esportiva” (sports town), there are excellent local facilities here, although you’ll have to travel to Girona or Barcelona for your matches.

Rugby
There are good rugby facilities in Barcelona and Girona and a small number of thriving clubs keen to enjoy friendly matches with touring teams of all ages. Further possibilities can also be considered over the border into France where Perpignan is only 2 hours on the coach. Tickets for French championship matches at the home of the Catalan giants, who have a developing relationship with Barcelona, would also be possible in season.

Excursion Possibilities
Most groups choose an excursion into Barcelona during the tour. Here, you can enjoy a visit to the Nou Camp stadium for a guided tour or perhaps see a match in season. Other highlights include the bars and shops along the famous Ramblas avenue.

Lloret de Mar is approximately 16 hours by coach from Calais. Flights are widely available from around the UK, with transfers from Girona (35 minutes) and Barcelona (90 minutes) organised for your arrival.
