Lievin

The CRAF at Lievin is the most popular of all our centres and many teams return here year after year. Just a short transfer from Calais, Lievin adjoins the town of Lens where World Cup football came to visit in 1998. A regional development centre for football, the complex also boasts a superb athletic facility and local fields for rugby. Your accommodation, meals and fields are all on site. Within walking distance of the local shops and bars there is also an indoor swimming complex on the outskirts of the CRAF.

The bedrooms are for 3-4 persons sharing. Most of these have showers, although there are a few standard rooms too. Twin rooms are usually available for staff.

Football
This is an excellent chance to stay and train in professional surroundings. You are assured of competitive friendly matches with French host clubs during your stay on grass or new generation artificial pitches.

Rugby
There are good rugby possibilities for teams in the region including a number of strong clubs sides in Lille.

Hockey
There are excellent hockey facilities in nearby Lille and Paris. Although this is a minority sport in France, ability levels are surprisingly strong and French teams provide excellent matches for our teams.

Other
Basketball, swimming and tennis are all popular in France and combinations with the main team sports can sometimes be worked into your schedule.

Excursion Possibilities
As well as the local tropical pool and cinema, it's a couple of hours by coach to Paris to see the Stade de France; the famous sights or Disneyland.
