Sports
Football
The Dutch have always advocated 'total football' and have produced fantastic young players through their professional teams. The local clubs are often the focal point of the community with teams for all ages and abilities and plenty of clubhouse hospitality. Friendlies are played on good grass pitches with the chance of a match under floodlights on the stadium pitch if you are lucky! Guest coaching with qualified KNVB staff can be rewarding for players and teachers alike, while everyone will enjoy seeing the Amsterdam Arena for a guided tour, or an Ajax, match in season. Tournament entries are possible at Easter, Spring Bank holiday and during the Summer.
Hockey
Successful at the Olympics yet again, the Dutch have a fantastic record in World hockey. With so many top facilities too, it's no wonder that Holland is an obvious choice for school hockey. Training time can be organised at National League facilities and guest coaches from home and abroad can add a new dimension to your session. Matches can always be found to meet your level and test your abilities with occasional tournament entries by invitation at Easter.
Other sports & leisure activities
Both rugby and cricket offer interesting tour possibilities during their respective seasons for British touring teams. Our tour base in Noordwijk in the heartland of Dutch sport allows for fixtures at clubs in Rotterdam, the Hague, Gouda and Amsterdam. Other sports including volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball and swimming can all be organised on request.

Excursion Possibilities
A trip to the Duinrell theme park and indoor tropical pool is always a great day whatever the weather. Most groups will head into Amsterdam of course, to visit the stadium, museums or Anne Frank house. Canal boat tours can also be pre-reserved if you'd like to catch a great view of the city from the water. Volendam is also recommended and we can organise visits to a traditional clog factory, windmill and cheese market.
