One of the most popular European cities, Barcelona is a wonderful destination for student teams. The Catalan capital has long been a favourite with touring groups with its mix of superb sporting traditions, spectacular sights and exciting nightlife.

Features

A visit to the incredible Nou Camp stadium is a must of course with guided tours available at selected times. Match tickets can be purchased for FC Barcelona. There is plenty of sightseeing and shopping to enjoy along the Ramblas and the beach to soak up the sun.

Sports

Football
Football friendlies are organised in the city and surrounding villages on a selection of clay, artificial and grass pitches with local English speaking representation on hand at the games.
We can organise match tickets at the Nou Camp in season.

Hockey
There are superb clubs in Barcelona and nearby Terrassa. Great facilities and strong competition make this a great choice for university teams.

Swimming & water polo
There are superb facilities at Montjuic with both 25 metre and Olympic pools available for training on request. Water polo fixtures can also be organised against competitive local clubs.

Rugby
There are rugby opportunities in Barcelona and Girona. Further possibilities can also be considered over the border into France where Perpignan is only 2 hours on the coach.

Other Sports
Basketball, volleyball and tennis fixtures are also possible on request.
