Prague

This beautiful and historic city offers a real flavour of Eastern Europe. As well as an imposing castle; old town squares and famous Charles Bridge, Prague is also home to major breweries including “Staropramen”, where you can enjoy a guided tour and tasting!

Accommodation

We use a selection of 2 and 3 star hotels in the city, on bed and breakfast basis, just a short tram or metro ride from Wenceslas Square and the heart of the action. Budget hostel accommodation is another option in the outer parts of the city.

Features

Prague features a wealth of cultural and historical features and some beautiful squares where you can relax and enjoy some of the great local beers. Brewery tours are possible if booked in advance along with boat trips and other local excursions.

Sports

Football
Football is played in the suburbs and nearby villages on grass or artificial pitches. Either way, you are sure of some great local Czech hospitality with food and beers with your hosts after the match. Tickets can be reserved for you for the top club matches in the city at Sparta, Slavia and Bohemians during the season.

Rugby
There is a small but passionate rugby community in the Czech Republic with matches possible in Prague and Pilsen.

Hockey
A minority sport here, but there are a small number of clubs in Prague and Pilsen can welcome competitive teams for friendly matches in season.
