Alicante

Variety is the spice of life in Alicante as classic and modern combine to make this one of the
most happening places in Spain. Few university cities can boast such a combination of great beaches, sports facilities and nightlife.

We use a selection of comfortable 2-3 star hotels near the beachfront on bed and breakfast or half board basis. With a large student population and a cracking nightlife, there’s a great choice of cafes and restaurants around the splendid sports marina and along the seafront.

There are miles of super sandy beaches and many have been awarded the EU blue flag for cleanliness and facilities. Dating back to 1849, the Plaza de Toros is one of the oldest
bullrings still in use in Spain and visits to the Bullfighting museum are also possible.

Football
Hugely popular along the coast and with excellent sports facilities in the city, friendly matches are arranged with host clubs here and along the Costa Blanca.

Hockey
Great facilities including new water-based field at the Alicante University complex, where training and matches can be organised to suit.
