Lake Garda

A great base for any tour to northern Italy, our accommodation at 'Garda Village' is situated on the southern tip of the lake, close to the popular resorts of Desenzano and Sirmione with direct and private access to the lake itself. From here you are ideally located for matches within the region, as well as excursions to Venice or Milan.

Accommodation

Groups stay at Garda Village in mobile home units sleeping 4 or 5 persons, all of which include kitchen corner and bathroom with shower. Breakfast and dinner are taken at the main restaurant. Alternative hotel options are available in nearby Bussolengo.

Features

As well as a private beach onto the lake, there is a large swimming pool on site at Garda Village (high season only). Other leisure facilities include tennis courts; basketball; table tennis; windsurfing and evening entertainment shows (in high season). There is a supermarket and bar/restaurant facilities on the complex. Some facilities may require a supplement to be paid locally, so please ask for clarification.

Sports

Football
Male and female matches can be organised in the region to suit all standards and abilities. Plus you’ll have every chance to catch a top Serie "A" fixture in the region during the season.

Hockey
There are excellent facilities at Villafranca and Padova with competitive matches available on request. Entries to one of the popular traditional Summer tournaments can also be organised should you prefer.

Rugby
The continued improvement in Italian rugby means good possibilities for student teams these days. There are a number of clubs within the region including strong outfits such as Calvisano keen for competitive games.

The journey is approximately 17 hours by coach from Calais or 1-2 hours transfer by coach from Italian airports including Milan, Bergamo and Brescia.
